Annual Art Shows

  • MEMBERS JANUARY SHOW & SALE. WVAG members only. Categories: oil/acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, photography, digital and sculpture. Approximately 135 pieces are displayed at the T.O. Community Center gallery for about a month. WVAG receives 25% commission on all sales.

  • OPEN JURIED June SHOW & SALE. Open to all artists. Cash prizes awarded. Categories: oil/acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, photography, digital and sculpture. Approximately 135 pieces are selected and displayed at the T.O. Community Gallery for about a month. Jurors are selected from renown regional professional art community members.

  • STUDENT AWARDS SHOW. Open to High School Juniors and Seniors residing in the greater Conejo Valley. Works are displayed at the City of Agoura Recreation & Events Center.

Membership Information

  • OPEN TO ALL ADULTS

  • ANNUAL DUES are $45.00 due July 1st

  • MEMBERSHIP YEAR runs July 1 through June 30

  • DISCOUNTS AND SAVINGS: Dinner Demo discount; reduced Art Show entry fees; Artist Workshop discounts; discounts on other WVAG events and partnerships

WVAG History & Mission

Founded in 1969, the Westlake Village Art Guild (WVAG) is a non profit organization comprised of artists and others who not only admire art, but have an interest in promoting art education and appreciation in our community. The WVAG is a 501(c)(4) non-profit “social welfare” organization of the community as a whole. WVAG is proud to be one of the leading art community organizations in southern California.

Learning & Education

  • DINNER DEMONSTRATIONS. Presented the first Tuesday of each month from September through June. Master class demonstrations by award winning artists representing a wide range of media and styles. Buffet dinner. Bar service available.

  • ARTIST WORKSHOPS. Scheduled intermittently throughout the calendar year. Featuring regionally and nationally known artists teaching their approach to success in their media, with detailed instruction about materials, techniques and styles.

  • STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FUND AWARD. Each year WVAG awards scholarships to deserving High School seniors in the greater Conejo Valley to promote and support their continuing interest in the arts during their pursuit of higher education.
